Brian is the kind of teacher that could give all teachers a good name by association. He found a common interest for his student and used it to make the curriculum relevant for all the students in his class. I was particularly impressed with his ability to provide opportunities for individual students. He has a range of achievement levels in his class and he was able tailor activities so that all students had some of their needs are met. The introduction of some technology in addition was pretty cool. He may not admit it but he has the soul of a special educator. gfs
